Oral Surgeon Robert Garber, DMD
Dr. Garber was raised in Massachusetts. He attended High School at Thayer Academy in Braintree, Massachusetts. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Boston University and a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine. He completed a Dental Internship at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. He completed his Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami Medical Center/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Following the completion of his residency, Dr Garber served as a Clinical Instructor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has also served as a Clinical Instructor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Garber is Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and currently is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is a Member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Massachusetts Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is active in the South Shore District Dental Society having served as Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer. He is a current Provider of Basic Life Support ( BLS ) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). He has been practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the South Shore area for almost 30 years.
